Eon hyundai price and Features

Specification :
Design : On the footsteps of the fluidic new babies (i10, Verna). It catches your eye. The crease is prominent, the face is distinctly Hyundai and the rear talks confidence. After looking at this, I would never consider WagonR/Estilo as more than steel boxes designed by LEGO and not Suzuki.
Engine : It will have a 814 cc 3 cylinder engine producing 55 bhp (which is 8 bhp more than Alto). Torque is better at 62 Nm which reminds me of the zippy Santro drive commercials some years back.
Interiors : The car will have space comparable to the Wagon R let alone Alto. This is “at your face Maruti” act by Hyundai. The boot is decent with 215 litres. The instrument and dash has been borrowed from the i10 which means excellent quality for the money you’ll end up paying. The trim and plastics will be i10 grade as well.
Appeal : This will be the USP of the “Eon”. It looks, feels, rides and commands much more than the 800/Alto. This will a car which people will love buying as a first as well as second car (Tata Nano, this is how its done). Hyundai has come of age in a decade and now stands at a juncture where the Eon could become the most important car of this decade.
Price :The base variant of Eon will be priced around Rs. 2,50,000 (ex-show)
