Osthi – Review
“Osthi” is the remake of Bollywood super hit movie “Dabaang” which starred Salman
Khan and was directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap. Osthi is directed by Dharani and
Simbu is doing a cop role.
Cantonment police arrested two fans Clinton (18) and Mubarak (18) of Marsingpettai.
Earlier, the Tamil Nadu Film Exhibitors Association had stated that they would not
release the film since Reliance Entertainment, which marketed the movie, has sold
the satellite rights of the film to Sun TV, which has been accused of not paying
its dues to the theatre association. Contradicting announcements over the release
had led to cancellation of the shows. Fans, who booked tickets a week ago, wanted
to know when the film would be released.

Camera work is good. Song sequences came out good. Thaman who composed music is good.
Songs composed by him are good he needs to take little bit care on background music.
Dharani is good in taking action flicks. Director has shown hate love and friendship
between siblings. But he failed in narrating the movie with thrilling sequences.
