Vodafone launches 'Smart' - 3G Android Phone, at a killer price of Rs. 4995

Vodafone India, the Indian telecommunications service provider, has announced the
launch of ‘Vodafone Smart’- the new revolutionary 3G Android phone, for all its
customers in India Vodafone has announced the Vodafone Smart, the latest handset
in its own-brand range and the first in its category: a fully-featured smartphone
with popular appeal for the next wave of data users.

The Vodafone Smart runs Android 2.2.1 and Vodafone users get a special introductory
offer of double the amount of free data on their 3G subscription but only till the
end of this year. In regards to the specifications the device has a 2.8-inch display,
it is powered by a 528 MHz ARM processor, 2 megapixel rear camera, WiFi and Bluetooth
connectivity. A 2GB microSD card is included in the box, expandable up to 32GB.

Vodafone Smart Price
Vodafone Smart will be priced at Rs 4995 and it will compete with Micromax Andro A60,
Alcatel OT 890 and MTS Livewire among the cheapest Android phones available in India.
Provided the Vodafone brand, this mobile phone can expect good sales and trust among
the users. This mobile phone will be available at all the leading mobile stores and
outlets along with exclusive Vodafone stores and mini stores will get it first in India.
