‘Do a Barrel Roll’: Google Channels Apple and Nintendo

‘Do a Barrel Roll’: Google Channels Apple and Nintendo

Google
" Do a barrel roll" has been trending on Twitter, thanks to Google's homepage where the fun query has got millions of people literally 'rolling'. The number of people on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter suggesting a 'do a barrel roll' on Google is increasing every minute.
Bhahaha, dizzy? Nauseous? Giggly? Ever since I checked out the gag (after a Stir colleague posted about it on Facebook, natch), I've been smirking. Because yeah, seeing your Internet browser perform tricks like a puppy sure is entertaining. But it's also so damn TYPICAL of those Google-sters to do something like that!
“Today’s fun query, ‘do a barrel roll,’ was created by a Google software engineer with the primary goal of entertaining users — while showcasing the power of CSS3, a presentation feature of modern browsers. The “do a barrel roll” query, which causes the search page to spin, will remain in place for a while.”
