Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in India
Looking to tap the fast-growing Indian market, Italian luxury sports car-maker Automobili Lamborghini SpA on Thursday launched its latest model, the ‘Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4′, priced at Rs 3.69 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi), in the country.
The rising demand for premium luxury sportscars has been observed of late, specifically after first Indian Grand Prix race, which is just starting. Mr. James Page, Marketing Manager at Lamborghini SpA of South East Asia and Pacific said that 20 bookings of Aventador are recorded, and the current waiting time for delivery is 18 months. The LP700-4 was introduced globally in March and till now 1500 cars have been booked. Mr. Page also said that they sell approximately 100 Lamborghini vehicles annually in the country.
Powered by a 6.5-litre engine, the Aventador can give a top speed of up to 350 km per hour.
