JustPictures – Photo Management App for Android
It’s a tough call, but i have to pick
JustPictures as the best photo management app on
Android.
JustPictures‘ killer feature is undoubtedly its support for a ton of different web services. You can view all of your
Facebook, Picasa,
Flickr,
Photobucket,
Tumblr, DeviantART, and Smugmug albums right in JustPictures as if they were on your own phone, which is super cool.and your SD CARD. It supports authentication, fullscreen viewing, pinch to zoom, live wall paper and makes good usage of the network.
Current features are the following :
Fullscreen viewing with sensor based rotation,
Slideshows and a Live Wallpaper on Android 2.1 devices,
Zooming and panning capabilities with multitouch on 2.0+ devices, and one touch zoom on others
Delete and Rotate local photos,
Set photo as wallpaper, contact icon, email attachment,
Batch mode edition (Favorite, Delete, Rotate, Share, Save),
Access to Exifs tags (if any),
Good usage of network for updates,
Managed cache, cache size can be limited to user defined value,
Automatic notification of album updates (Picasa and Smugmug only),
Authentication of users to access private albums, password protected albums are supported on Smugmug,
Quick access to Favorite photos,
Set image as wallpaper.
There are other photo management apps on the Market, but most of them are pretty much the same as the above choices, though perhaps with less polish. If you’re looking for a Gallery alternative on your phone, you’ll definitely want to pick one of these apps.
