Toyota Etios Diesel Sedan in Price India

Here’s everything you need about the diesel variants of the Toyota Etios Sedan and the Toyota Liva Hatchback, down to the variants that will be on offer. As we’ve reported earlier, both cars will feature 1.4 Liter D-4D turbodiesel engines that puts out 67 Bhp of peak power at 3,800 rom and 170 Nm of peak torquefrom 1,800 to 2,400 rpm. This engine will use a fixed geometry turbo charger instead of the variable geometry turbo charger the same engine comes with in the Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel.

The only thing remaining to know about the diesel variants of the Etios Sedan and the Etios Liva is the pricing. Toyota cannot afford to price the diesel variants at the same price levels it prices its other diesel variants like the Corolla Altis and the Innova, which are priced about 1-1.5 Lakhs more than the equivalent petrol variants. Hence, we’re hoping that Toyota will price the diesel variants Etios Sedan and the Liva Hatchback at about 80,000 more than the petrol variants if it indeed wants to take the fight up to the competition.
