Punjab School Education Board is biggest education board in Punjab. PSEB was conducts approximate
3,60,000 students exam in Sepetember 2011 for 1st Semester. Now Students wait the 10th class results.

Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969
for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. In 1987, the Vidhan
Sabha amended the Board’s Act to grant it autonomy. The scope of Board’s functions is very wide and
covers almost every aspect/stage of school education. The Board has been entrusted with responsibility
of granting affiliation to the private schools in the state as per the prescribed rules and guidelines.
The Board has affiliated approximately 2700 schools till date.
