Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is a university located at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is the affiliating university for technical colleges in Gujarat, replacing Gujarat University who was the affiliating university until GTU’s establishment on 16 May 2007.
It is India’s one of the largest university for technical education with capacity intake of more than 40,000 engineers.
Gujarat Technological University is established by an act of Gujarat Legislature (Gujarat Act No. 20 of 2007). The functions and duties are defined in section 7 of the act. Gujarat Technological is the head and biggest university as far as affiliation concerned in whole Gujarat. GTU held exams for the various studies like BE, ME, DE, MCA, MBA, M.Pharm, D.Pharm. GTU most recently organized diploma 5th semester final exam. It’s held on November 2011 and GTU will going to declared it’s results by this month.
