IBPS Second Common PO/MT Posts written Test (CWE) in June 2012

The 2nd Common Written Examination (CWE-PO/ MT-II) will be conducted by
the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite
for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee
posts in the Public Sector Banks mentioned below. This system of Common
Written Examination for recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management
Trainees has been approved by the Government of India, has the consent
of the Boards of each of the participating Banks and the Managing
Committee of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA)

IBPS has become a body providing integrated end to end solutions for
human resource management of client organizations. It was successful
in screening over 10 million candidates for testing and filled approx.
The objective is to develop an unbiased and efficient system for
recruitment, promotion and placement services. It pioneered the use
of Objective Type Cognitive Ability tests for mass level examinations.
Its success story has now registered a distinctive hallmark on the
national horizon, be it class or mass selection.

Note that candidates that were successful in the first PO/MT CWE in
sep 2011 may also apply for this and may look to improve their scores.
Both the scorecards will be valid for one year.
