BlackBerry Curve 9220 launched in India Rs 10,999
Canadian smartphone maker Research In Motion on Wednesday launched its
youth-oriented Curve 9220 in India.
It's the same trackpad too, but which performs just as well on the 9220
as on any BlackBerry, making navigation a breeze. However, frills like a
lit-up border for the trackpad are missing, and that's understandable on
a low-end smartphone.
RIM posted a net loss of USD 125 million for the three months ended March
3, 2012 compared to net income of USD 934 million in the same quarter of
fiscal 2011.
The new model claims to offer "the longest lasting" battery life yet in a
BlackBerry Curve model, giving users up to seven hours of talk time or up
to 28 hours of music playback or FM radio listening on headphones.
India Rs 10,999
