IFA 2011 could be an interesting event: Sony, Samsung, LG, and others also is expected to announce a few new devices, and now it seems that ViewSonic will be something for those who want to buy a tablet on a budget.
Viewsonic has been taunting us a slew of slates for months, one of which we even got to manhandle way back in February. It seems the company is finally ready to deliver its ViewPads to the public though, and announced the availability of three models at IFA. The ViewPad10pro has been around the block a few times by now and, after a limited run earlier, the Viewsonic has added a new Android tablets to its Tablet range with the launch of the Viewsonic ViewPad 7e. Viewsonic ViewPad 7e sports a 7 inch Multi Touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixel screen resolution and it runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
Viewsonic ViewPad 7e is powered by a 1 Ghz single-core CPU Processor, 512MB of RAM and it features 3 Megapixel camera at the rear, VGA Camera at the front.
Viewsonic ViewPad 7e connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI connectivity and it also comes with pre-installed Amazon Kindle software.
Price :Android 2.3 and Windows 7-running tablet will hit shelves on September 5th starting at €499 ($714) for the WiFi only version.
