A new Acer Aspire 5749 notebook has appeared in the Amazon.de which unsurprisingly runs MeeGo. However, one noticable feature in this notebook is the pairing that OS with a Sandy Bridge CPU. Previously in the past, Acer had only issued the operating system on Atom-based netbooks.
Sporting 1366 × 768 pixels resolution screen, the Aspire 5749 Laptop is driven by Meebo OS, second generation Dual Core Intel Core-i3 2310M Processor and Integrated Intel 3000 Graphics.
The Notebook features 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD writer, Webcam, Mic out and more. The Aspire 5749 is Bluetooth enabled and have 2 USB, HDMI and LAN ports. The Laptop is equipped with 6 Cell Li-Ion Battery and weighs 2.6 kg.
