Lenovo raises the bar for style with three new luxury laptops, the IdeaPad U300s Ultrabook, and the U300 and U400 laptops. These ultraportable notebooks are designed for fashion-conscious PC users who want a well-equipped laptop with the latest technology and good looks to boot.

With the Ideapad U300s, Lenovo is entering Ultrabook territory in style. “Ultrabook” is a platform for uber-light computers that Intel has been promoting recently and the U300s is part of the first generation of Ultrabooks. At 14.9mm thick, it is thinner than the Macbook Air and weights a comparable 2.91lbs. The design of the Ideapad U300s is terrific. It looks clean from any and every angle.

The surprisingly slim U300s Ultrabook features up to a second generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, and can boot up in as little as 10 seconds using Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience 2.0 RapidDrive SSD technology. The U300s has a 13.3-inch ultra-slim 16:9 widescreen HD display, 4GB DDR3 memory and up to 256GB of SSD storage
Despite its ultra-slim profile the U300s features a Lenovo Long Life Battery which Lenovo claims provides up to eight hours of use or an incredible 30 days in standby mode. Also, thanks to Lenovo RapidCharge, the battery in the U300s can be charged to 50% capacity in just 30 minutes. Also included is Bluetooth, high-speed 802.11n Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectors, as well as an integrated 1.3M (720p HD) webcam.
